App 004

Curated shopping.

A personal shopper, compressed into a single link.

Hand-pick products, add personal notes, and send branded shoppable links to customers. A personal shopper in a link.

CurateList app interface

What it does

Four moving parts.

List Builder

Pick products from your catalog, reorder with drag-and-drop, and attach discount codes.

Personal Notes

Add a personal note to every product — tell your customer exactly why you picked it for them.

Shareable Pages

Each list gets a branded page on your domain. Send via email, SMS, or DM — no login required.

Customer Reactions

Customers react with "Love It" or "Not for Me" — you see feedback in real time before they buy.

How it works

Three steps, then quiet.

  1. 01

    Pick the products

Pull from your catalog, reorder by drag, attach a discount.

  2. 02

    Write the note

One line per product — why it suits this customer. That is the whole job.

  3. 03

    Send the link

A branded page on your own domain, openable from email, SMS, or DM.

Who it suits

For stylists, concierge sellers, and founders who still write back personally.

  • Lists built in minutes
  • Reactions seen live
  • Conversion without a login

What it is

A personal shopper app, not a recommendation engine.

CurateList is a personal shopper app for Shopify: a human picks the products, writes a one-line reason for each, and sends the result as a branded page on your own domain. There is no algorithm choosing on your behalf and no widget bolted onto your product pages. The list exists because someone on your team decided these six things belong in front of this one customer.

That distinction matters when you search for a personal shopper app and find recommendation engines instead. Recommendation apps guess at scale from browsing data. CurateList works at the scale of one — the stylist who already knows the customer wears a 38, the gift-shop owner who remembers last year’s order, the B2B rep who has a buyer’s spring assortment in their head.

What the customer sees

A page on your store, not a PDF in their inbox.

Every list becomes a shoppable page on your store’s domain — your logo, your fonts, your product photography — reachable from a link you paste into email, SMS, WhatsApp, or a DM. The customer opens it on their phone, reads your note under each product, taps Love It or Not for Me, and adds what they want to a real Shopify cart. No account, no app to download, no password.

You see every view and every reaction as it happens, and each list reports the revenue it produced. When a customer marks four of six picks “Not for Me,” you know before they go quiet — and the next list is better for it.

Who uses it

Built for the one-to-one sellers.

Stylists and personal shoppers who send outfit edits after an appointment. Boutique owners who text regulars when new stock lands. Gift shops building a “for your mother-in-law” shortlist from a two-line brief. Interior designers assembling a room. B2B and wholesale reps sending a buyer a pre-approved assortment with the trade discount already attached.

It is deliberately not a clienteling CRM: there are no per-associate seats, no POS integration, and no customer profiles beyond the lists you have sent. If you run a floor team across several stores you will want a full clienteling platform — we compare the options in our guide to personal shopper apps for Shopify — and CurateList works alongside it as the curated-send layer.

Pricing

Free to start. Cheap to stay.

The Free plan covers 10 lists and 5 customers a month with email sending, reactions, the cart permalink, and basic analytics — enough to run a real test on your best customers before paying anything. Starter is $7 a month for 100 lists and 50 customers, and adds custom email templates, discount codes on lists, scheduled sends, revenue analytics, and removes CurateList branding. Pro is $15 a month for unlimited lists and customers, plus list expiration, PDF export, and custom branding. Paid plans carry a 7-day (Starter) or 14-day (Pro) free trial and are billed through Shopify.

FAQ

Before you install, the answers.

  • Is CurateList a free personal shopper app for Shopify?

Yes. The Free plan includes 10 lists and 5 customers per month with email sending, customer reactions, cart permalinks, and basic analytics, with no time limit. Paid plans start at $7 a month when you need more volume or want to attach discount codes to lists.

  • How is a personal shopper app different from a product recommendation app?

A recommendation app uses browsing and purchase data to guess what many shoppers might want and shows the result automatically on product or cart pages. A personal shopper app like CurateList is manual and one-to-one: a person on your team picks specific products for a specific customer, explains each pick in a note, and sends the list directly. They solve different problems and can run side by side.

  • Do my customers need an account to shop a list?

No. A list opens as a branded page on your store domain from any link. Customers can react to products and add them to a Shopify cart without creating an account or logging in; they only enter details at your normal checkout.

  • Can I attach a discount code to a curated list?

Yes, on the Starter and Pro plans. You attach an existing Shopify discount code to the list and it applies when the customer checks out from that list — which is how stylists send a “20% off your edit” offer and B2B reps pass through a trade price.

  • Does CurateList work for in-store staff or with Shopify POS?

Anyone with access to your Shopify admin can build and send lists, including store staff, but CurateList does not integrate with Shopify POS and has no per-associate seats or customer profiles. Solo sellers and small teams use it directly; larger floor teams typically pair it with a dedicated clienteling platform.

  • How do I know whether a list converted?

Every list reports its views, each product’s Love It and Not for Me reactions, and the revenue attributed to orders placed from that list. Revenue analytics across all lists are included on the Starter and Pro plans.
