Customer Operations Full-time
Shopify App Support Specialist
You make Shopify merchants feel taken seriously when something breaks at 2am.
Front-line support for the four Palm Beach apps. Reply to merchants, route bug reports, sit on the seam between hiring engineering attention and protecting it.
What you'll do
- Be the first reply on every support email and Shopify App Store review for MLS IDX, Oddsworth, Auto Markdown, and CurateList.
- Triage merchant reports: reproduce the issue, distinguish "user setup" from "actual bug", file the second category for engineering with a tight repro.
- Write public replies to App Store reviews (good and bad) that read like a real person and protect the brand.
- Maintain the help-doc surface as features ship; flag holes the moment a third merchant asks the same question.
- Spot patterns in support volume and turn them into product asks engineering can act on.
What we expect
- Strong written communication. Email is the primary surface. We will read your application as a writing sample.
- Real Shopify experience. Merchant-side, agency-side, or app-side; all count.
- Comfortable in a Shopify Admin, in checkout flow, in a theme editor, in an app dashboard.
- Calm under "your app broke my store" pressure.
- Async-default. Most communication is async; sync calls are scheduled, not interruptive.
Bonus
- Background in real estate (helpful for MLS IDX support).
- Familiarity with Kalshi or Polymarket (helpful for Oddsworth support).
- Spanish or Portuguese fluency (Miami reality).
- Have shipped a Shopify app yourself, or know your way around the Shopify CLI.
How we hire
- Written application via the form below. Tell us about a hard support ticket you handled end-to-end.
- 30-min call to talk through your application.
- Paid 4-hour trial: we send you a real anonymized inbox of merchant tickets, you send back triaged replies.
- Second 30-min call to walk through the trial. Decision within 5 business days.

Plain prose. Tell us what you've shipped, what made it hard, what you would do differently. Two short paragraphs is enough.
